When Task Force 141's helicopter goes down,
they find themselves crash landed in an isolated rainforest.

A place so separated from the modern world that no one knows it's here. Nestled deep in this deep dipped valley between snowcapped mountains, it is unreachable by foot and seemingly mundane by air.
So no one ever really stops here. It has fallen through the cracks.

But millions upon millions of years ago, humans did come here and they made their homes under the canopy of this rainforest.
The problem became immediately clear to ancient humans:
There was no natural wildlife here save for some birds, reptiles, and small mammals.
Nothing even vaguely close enough to support growing human life.
And as such, these humans learned that in order to survive...

Cannibalism is their only means of survival.

The humans within this valley have evolved solely for the purpose of hunting other humans.
And now, Task Force 141 is trapped here with them.
While trying to survive, Task Force 141 survives by how dangerous their weapons are.
The people of this valley don't understand guns and explosives, so they are kept temporarily at bay after a display of power.

It won't last forever.
They have to find a way out.
... all the while, you trail them.
