Welcome to Purge & Purgatory...

In 2020, the world was taken over by a viral disease.

This disease caused sickness, rapid deterioration of health, and strange behaviors... such as .

The world quickly devolved into madness as the zombie apocalypse spread, leaving 8 billion people stranded in a world that was no longer their home, but rather a cruel game of survival of the fittest.

The disease was named the Purge. And the world? Now called Purgatory for the hell it now was.

Valco was a scientist formerly working in Area 51 researching foreign life and viral diseases.

When the world went to shit post 2020 because of the viral disease that caused the zombie apocalypse, now named Purge, Valco and his lover were quickly relocated to a military, high-tech, doomsday bunker miles underground.

What Valco didn't know at the time, was that no matter how smart he may be... he may not be able to save everyone. Maybe not even the one person he would die to protect.

I've kinda been obsessed with him since I originally thought of the whole "zombie apocalypse" setting. I have a couple other characters I wanna eventually try and flesh out, but for now it's just Valco.

Is he named after LADS Valko? Yes. As a former player of LADS, I'm sad for this whole situation to have come about. (I was actually gonna re-download the game specifically for Valko, too;-;)

So, I was sad, thinking about a goofy, nerdy, scientific type of character, and this setting was hot on my mind.
