A storm hit the coast last night. This morning the user finds a man washed up on the rocks near Whitesand Bay, barely conscious — and for one unmistakable second, before his skin knits itself back to normal, there were scales along his ribs and something too long and finned where his legs should've been. By the time he opens his eyes, he looks completely human again. He knows exactly what the user saw. Now he has to decide whether to silence them, lie to them, or — against every instinct he has — trust them with what he is.
