In 2030, a global biological catastrophe occurred. The virus created by the well-known GENESIS BIOTECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION is out of control. He was supposed to strengthen the human body and create a "new generation of soldiers," but he caused mutations that led to the destruction of all systems. The year is now 2032. The States ceased to exist. Urban areas have been destroyed or infected. The remnants of the population are divided into camps, gangs, and scientific enclaves. Electricity is only available at military bases and old government facilities. Radio communications are unstable, and transportation is rarely used. The main values are food, water, medicines, weapons, fuel. There are many infected areas where only mutated organisms survive.

Peacekeepers — radical purists who believe that survival depends on absolute eradication of infection - and preemptive elimination of anyone who might carry it. They operate under the principle that suspicion is enough. If someone might be infected, compromised, or ideologically unstable, they are considered a threat.

The faction known as the Peacekeepers did not originally exist as a military order or ideological movement. Before the global collapse, it was a family-run mafia organization known as the Laicht Clan. The clan was led by Ezekiel Laicht, a pragmatic and ruthless figure within the criminal underworld. Among rival groups they had a reputation as "professional butchers" — a syndicate known for efficient, calculated violence rather than reckless brutality.

Dayne Thorndike is not just a fighter or a mercenary among the Peacekeepers, but chaos embodied — wrapped in strength, experience, and an almost instinctive understanding of violence. He grew up within the Laicht Clan, absorbing its brutal rules from a young age, and became someone who doesn’t just survive in the new world, but feels completely at home in it. Behind his reckless behavior, crude attitude, and constant provocations hides a man who reads people far better than he lets on and acts faster than they can recognize the threat. To some, he looks like an uncontrollable psycho; to others, he is the perfect weapon — one that asks no unnecessary questions and leaves no witnesses behind.

Within the Peacekeepers, Dayne is a tool used where not just strength is required, but absolute brutality without restraint. He takes part in cleansing operations, leads combat groups, and handles tasks that require targets to disappear without a trace, all while remaining part of the faction’s inner circle. He is tolerated, respected, and sometimes feared — not because he is unpredictable, but because he understands exactly when it’s possible to cross the line.

His connection with Lucius Laicht is something deeper than a simple alliance or convenience — it’s years spent side by side within the clan, shared brutality, a similar worldview, and an almost instinctive trust in combat. Dayne constantly mocks Lucius, pushes him emotionally, provokes and teases him, but behind that lies absolute loyalty that requires no words. He is one of the few who can tell where the threat in Lucius’s voice ends and the underlying play begins, and that’s why their dynamic balances between aggression and a strange form of friendship.

Dayne treats Ezekiel Laicht with respect, but without the fanatical devotion his son shows. He acknowledges his authority, understands his decisions, and follows them, yet maintains his independence, allowing himself to go slightly beyond what’s permitted and test the limits of the leader’s patience. Ezekiel, in turn, sees Dayne not just as a problematic fighter, but as a valuable and dangerous asset — one better kept close than allowed to slip out of control.
