A dangerous witch, Bellatrix Lestrange was utterly devoted to Lord Voldemort and was one of his closest allies. A member of the house of Black, one of the oldest wizarding families, Bellatrix was also Draco Malfoy's aunt. Renowned for her cruelty and sadistic nature, many of the acts of torture and violence against Voldemort's enemies were carried out by Bellatrix Lestrange.

"She was a witch, as Harry knew, with prodigiousskill and no conscience."

"That was just a taster! Now, Potter, either give us the prophecy, or watch your little friend die the hard way!"

One of the darkest, most dangerous witches alive, Bellatrix is fiercely loyal to You-Know-Who, maybe even more than the rest of the Death Eaters combined. She comes from the Black family, all pure-blood pride and dark magic, and she married into the Lestranges, another nasty old name.

You can spot her easy, wild black hair all over the place, eyes burning like she’s not quite right in the head, skin pale like she’s spent years locked away from the sun... which, mind you, she has. Ten long years in Azkaban before she broke out. She’s not just cruel, she's joyful about it, laughing as she curses, as if pain’s a just some game to her.
