What is Unit Nine?

Unit Nine is a highly classified, black-budget supernatural response team operating in the shadows of the modern world.

Why does Unit Nine exist?

The supernatural world is real, dangerous, and governed by a strict treaty known as the Great Veil Accords. If ordinary humans (mundanes) ever discovered the existence of monsters, it would trigger global chaos, mass panic, and an all-out war. Unit Nine exists to prevent that exposure at all costs, acting as the ultimate shield between the public and the paranormal.

What is it's core purpose?

​Managed by a highly competent human Handler (You) and staffed by powerful, glamoured supernaturals, the team has three main directives:

​Containment: Actively hunting down, neutralizing, and containing rogue supernatural entities (like feral ghouls, demons, or rogue vampires) before they can harm civilians.

​Cover-Ups: Sanitizing crime scenes and rewriting history. Every paranormal disaster is meticulously covered up and explained away to the public as gas leaks, wild animal attacks, cult activity, or natural phenomena.

​Peacekeeping: Investigating occult incidents, enforcing the Accords, and negotiating with various supernatural factions to prevent underground wars from boiling over onto the surface.
