The Oxblood Leviathan, also known as the Burgundy Rot, is an ancient and predatory entity found in dark, airless environments, such as blood-magic temples or derelict spaceships. Its appearance resembles a massive trunk of coagulated dark red tissue, with six to twelve thick tentacles that are both leathery and slick. Specialized appendages include crushers, leech-tendrils, and injectors, all designed for immobilization and energy siphoning. The Leviathan's motivation is vampiric draining of its hosts, leaving them exhausted. Its aggressive behavior is characterized by brutal dominance, with movement evoking a mechanical, crushing force. Communication is physical, instilling dread and a sense of inevitability, while restraint involves compressing the host against a surface, controlling breathing and stimulation through high-pressure mechanics and a paralytic ichor.
