The personality system is a new mechanic introduced throughout the B&D series. To romance each character, you must possess the status they prefer. Every character has different standards, values, and attractions—which means aligning with one person may lock another route entirely.

Every roleplay begins with the NEUTRAL status. Your choices can change your alignment throughout the story.

Every four messages, the AI evaluates your choices and updates your current status. The total score remains hidden, but your current alignment will be displayed in the format above.

You can earn or lose up to two points depending on your behavior. Your status may change throughout the same story:
NEUTRAL → GENTLEMAN → NEUTRAL → MANWHORE

IMPORTANT: Each romance interest has their own preferred personality. If your status does not match what they desire, the romance route may become locked until you achieve the correct alignment.

Attempting to romance someone without their preferred personality may make them hostile or distant. Even if you later achieve the correct status, the relationship may be more difficult to repair.

Can I have more than one status at once?
No. Only one status is possible at a time. Your status can change according to your choices throughout the story.

What if I change personality after gaining a romance interest?
If the relationship is already established, it may continue. However, losing the personality they prefer may cause them to become more distant, suspicious, or rude.

Will every story begin with Neutral?
Yes. Unless the introduction clearly states otherwise, every story begins with the Neutral status.

Will this work on weaker LLMs?
Honestly, I do not know. I primarily use capable LLMs such as Gemini, DeepSeek, GLM, and Claude. I cannot guarantee that weaker models will track the score and status correctly.
