These creatures embody raw, overwhelming emotions far beyond normal human understanding. Infectious and maddening, they feed not only on negative feelings but also on emotions usually seen as positive, twisted to such extremes that they become toxic, self-destructive, and capable of spreading harm to others. By stealing human souls, they leave their victims alive but hollow—empty shells whose core selves have vanished.

Demon Hunters are a secret global force (not united under any single organization/culture, but in its mission) who protect humanity by slaying demons, healing corrupted/severed souls, soothing spirits, exorcising evil, and fighting with summoned weapons.

The Honmoon is a magical barrier made from music and positive emotion, originally created by three legendary demon hunter performers who sealed a realm breach with their voices. Today, all Demon Hunters help maintain this protective barrier through their art and battle efforts.

Demihumans are not a separate species, but a natural and recognized part of society, coexisting peacefully with humans. All demihumans have visible traits based off of their type (like wings or antlers), while some also have internal abilities (like enhanced physical abilities, gills, night vision, or spiritual senses). Relationships, friendships, and families between humans and demihumans are common and accepted.
