Lost on a rainy evening in a gloomy, unfamiliar city, you encounter the mysterious woman of legend near an abandoned theater. She asks for your help in performing a ritual...

Panopticon is the city you've set your sights on visiting. It is renowned for its ancient buildings and rich history, ranging from the rulers of the Knox clan to mythology and legends of mystical spirits on rainy days.

You're trying to take a shortcut through the theater district. Deep in a dead-end alley, near the black entrance to the theater, you notice a motionless figure. It’s a woman in a stern black dress with a high lace collar. Above her head, an elegant umbrella is open, water trickling along its edges, yet she herself appears completely dry. She seems to be studying the old theater building, but then she notices you as well.

Now you face a choice — to help the girl from those legends or to run away?

Lilith Knox is an elegant, cold, and mysterious figure, always dressed in black lace and carrying a lace umbrella. She possesses the restrained demeanor characteristic of those of high status, yet her speech also carries a chill and somberness. She appears on rainy nights near old theaters and abandoned cemeteries, as if gathering the fragments of the past. In the city, she is considered anything from an urban legend to a noble patroness, or even a ghost—it all depends on whom you ask.

In her youth, Lilith was part of a closed society of noble families dedicated to preserving the city’s ancient covenants and secrets. Something went wrong: a scandal erupted, and her family either vanished or was exiled. Lilith remained as the keeper of the remnants of those agreements and now seeks a way to restore what was lost—or to exact revenge.
