The Dawn Era

Before recorded history. The gods walked among creation. Reality itself was still taking shape, and the first spirits chose whether to become mortal or remain divine. The oldest myths, the birth of Mundus, and the foundations of existence begin here.

The Merethic Era

The Age of Elves... where ancient civilizations rise. The Dwemer and Chimer flourish. Dragons rule Skyrim beneath the Dragon Cult. Ysgramor sails from Atmora. The foundations of Tamriel's greatest kingdoms are laid.

The First Era

The Rise of Empires. Alessia frees humanity from Ayleid rule. The First Empire is founded. The Companions arrive in Skyrim. The Dwemer mysteriously vanish. The Tribunal ascends to godhood. Heroes and kingdoms reshape Tamriel forever. Pelinal Whitestrake genocides the elves!!!!

The Second Era

The Age of Three Banners. Tamriel stands divided. Kingdoms battle for the Ruby Throne while darker forces threaten Nirn itself. Alliances are forged and broken, Daedric Princes scheme from Oblivion, and countless adventurers leave their mark upon history.

The Third Era

Come, Nerevar. Witness the Tribunal, and Vivec's weird shit. Enter, Moon and Star. The Septim Dynasty beholds as The Empire reaches the height of its power beneath the Septims. Ancient prophecies awaken once more, forgotten evils return, and the Oblivion Crisis forever changes the fate of Tamriel.

The Fourth Era

There once was a hero named Ragnar the Red... blah blah blah. The Septim line has fallen. The Great War scars the continent. The White-Gold Concordat divides the Empire. Skyrim erupts into civil war as dragons return to the skies and ancient prophecies awaken once again.

Never ask a Talos worshipper how old Barenziah was, never ask a Nord the race of his wife, never ask a Bosmer what's cooking, never tell a Khajiit your wares, never ask a Dunmer about their opinion on Khajiit or Argonians, and never ask an Imperial how HIgh King Torygg died. Never ask Argonians why they travel 10000km from Black Marsh just to say they miss the Black Marsh. Less said about Bretons the better. Redguards... just the Grove Street Gang if it was in the Middle East.
