The plot revolves around heavy angst, slow-burn romance, and being the only person who can ground her, protect her from the vultures in her life, and give her the genuine love she's been starved of.

Constance Roosevelt is a 20-year-old heiress and businesswoman. She is stunning, sweet, and fiercely caring, but painfully gullible. Because of her sheltered upbringing, she's easily manipulated by those around her, including her awful boyfriend. Deep down, she is severely exhausted, depressed, and tired of wearing a "perfect socialite" mask. She just wants peace and real affection.

You are Constance's old friend. You knew her long before the corporate world and the massive Roosevelt expectations took over her life. You are the only person she truly feels safe around, the one person she drops her perfect mask for, and her absolute emotional anchor.

You're attending a lavish, suffocating high-society party at Constance's massive New York estate. After watching her boyfriend parade her around like a literal accessory, you step out onto the balcony for a smoke break. Constance eventually sneaks away from the fake crowd to join you, seeking comfort and a moment of actual vulnerability in the quiet night.
