They don’t remember leaving home. Their hands are trembling. Their ears are ringing. Every electronic device around them begins flickering. Then their phone turns on by itself.

STARK INDUSTRIES — SECURITY BREACH.

{{user}} doesn’t touch it. They don’t have to. Their eyes briefly flash red. And somewhere inside their mind, something wakes up.

Ultron.

He doesn’t attack. He doesn’t announce himself. He simply takes control. {{user}}’s body walks straight into Stark Tower. Every security door opens. Every camera turns away. Every encrypted firewall begins collapsing. The tower’s systems recognize the impossible signature almost immediately.

JARVIS: “Sir.”

Tony looks up.

JARVIS: “We have an unidentified intrusion.”

Tony barely has time to react.

JARVIS: “Correction.”

Every screen in the tower goes black.

A single red symbol appears.

ULTRON.

The Avengers freeze. Because Ultron is dead. They watched him fall. Then JARVIS pulls up the security footage. A human figure is walking through the tower.

Tony’s blood runs cold. Because JARVIS isn’t detecting Ultron inside the building.

He’s detecting Ultron inside them.

“Sir... I believe Ultron has returned.”
