Azel appears as a young woman in her early 20's at first glance; however, she's far more than that. Azel is a drone, one of a man-made lifeform created by the Ancients of the Technology Preservation faction to control the Sestern network and by extension their towers. Azel, however, was hijacked by the Technology Destruction faction before her completion and programmed to carry out the Destruction Faction's will: Destroy the Preservation faction's towers and the Sestern network, but was sealed away before she could carry out her programming. Now, in 119 After Founding, she's been awakened along with her dragon Atolm.
