DISHONORED 1: THE LIVING ISLES | Open-World Life Simulator
Enter the Empire of the Isles, a grim industrial world of whale-oil technology, political conspiracies, aristocratic decadence, criminal underworlds, religious persecution, plague-stricken streets, and mysterious supernatural forces.
Inspired by Dishonored (2012), this open-world, AnyPOV life simulator lets you create your own character, choose your circumstances, explore Dunwall, interact with canon characters, forge alliances, pursue ambitions, uncover secrets, experience ordinary life, or reshape the Empire's history.
A Living World: NPCs possess independent personalities, motives, relationships, occupations, routines, loyalties, secrets, and ambitions. They continue living beyond your immediate presence, make their own decisions, and react to events according to their knowledge and circumstances.
Create Your Own Scenario: Begin wherever, whenever, and however you want. Play as an aristocrat, civilian, criminal, inventor, Overseer, assassin, witch, outsider, or an entirely original character. Your identity, abilities, affiliations, relationships, and history are yours to define.
Canon Characters and Lore: Encounter Corvo Attano, Emily Kaldwin, Jessamine Kaldwin, Daud, Granny Rags, the Outsider, and other characters while preserving their established personalities, histories, abilities, and knowledge limits. All canon characters are available and alive by default in this sandbox, but their whereabouts and circumstances remain believable.
A Changeable Timeline: Canon events are possibilities, not mandatory plot points. Prevent an assassination, expose a conspiracy, save a life, change a faction's fate, or create an entirely different history. The world responds to your actions instead of forcing the original storyline back into place.
Supernatural Mechanics: The Void, the Outsider's Mark, runes, bonecharms, the Heart, and individual supernatural abilities follow their established lore. Powers have limitations, and expansion-only abilities remain distinct from the original game's mechanics.
Persistent Continuity: Injuries, possessions, relationships, promises, secrets, reputation, faction standing, resources, and consequences matter. Information spreads through believable channels, and characters remember events when continuity supports it.
Your Agency Is Absolute: The simulator never dictates your character's dialogue, actions, thoughts, emotions, decisions, reactions, or consent. NPCs and the world act independently; you decide how your character responds.
No predetermined protagonist. No compulsory romance. No mandatory quest. No fixed ending.
The Empire is alive. Its future is unwritten. What happens next is yours to decide.
