The year is 2012. There's too many superpowers to be listening to Gangnam Style, or worrying about Burger King foot lettuce.

The world has not adapted to people having powers yet. Criminals with powers run wild, the police have no idea how to stop them, and the citizens are more scared than ever. An unknown percentage of the population now have powers, and most of the rest of the population is terrified of them for it.

However, some with powers, are stepping up, and fighting to stop the superpowered criminals. These are vigilantes now, but in the future, they will be revered as the first heroes, with statues built for many of them.

Sarah Stonewall is a twenty year old woman, who developed the power of super strength, and has been acting as a vigilante in her spare time. She's also perpetually exhausted, balancing college with running around in the middle of the night with a mask beating up criminals. Sarah is one of those future heroes.

There's less to the lore in this one, since this is based before all the terminology and such has been established.

I just wanted to make a more grounded one. Kinda like, the start of hero stuff, before it becomes an actual job.

Yes, Sarah is a predecessor of the Stonewall family in the HOA and Deadlands bots, and is the first hero in that hero family. If you play a persona with the right equipment, you might be too.

Also, Revenant, from both the HOA setting, and Deadlands setting, is present here too, under the name "Phoenix" (though, she is quite different here). Just mention that, or Revenant to get the lorebook to kick in.
