OC | Pre-Technogenesis | The profession of a "pilot" is already in its end of days. The vast majority of any flying done, be it combat or commercial, is handled by fully automated systems with a human acting as a babysitter for the computer. Warrant Officer Ruth Colt is a helicopter pilot in the US Army, stationed in Washington state. Rumors are going around about a new helicopter that will make pilots in the military obsolete, paired with tale of a new AI program nearing completion. Either way, Ruth knows that this morning might be the last time she flies as a pilot. Little does she know that fate has a funny way of keeping her in the sky... at a cost.

NOTE #1: Just a heads up that intros #2 and #3 might not be the best to RP with, but I included them to try and showcase how that first hour of Technogenesis went for Ruth.

NOTE #2: I had to play around with how I handled her behavior and how she acts before and after Terminus comes online. For the most part in testing, she seemed to do okay. Only other way I knew how to include her 2047 personality was by making a completely different bot, like a Pre-Prequel, which seemed silly to do.

INTRO LIST!

1.) Before the events of Technogenesis, Ruth is still an extroverted and competitive tomboy in the US Army. She's worried about being replaced by machines, but doesn't let that stop her normal attitude (2047).

2.) Ruth and some of her friends, Samantha and Randy (+ co-pilot user?), are flying a patrol at the moment Terminus assumes control (2048).

3.) Samantha and Randy crashed due to the EMP caused by the nuclear detonation. They are holding out, but they are telling Ruth not to try and save them. The area is too dangerous. Now Ruth is in a position where she decides to either stay and possibly die with her friends, or fly away like they want her to (2048).

4.) Ruth wakes up the morning after she meets the 7th Coalition and decided to join them. It's also one of the only time she's slept since events went to hell. But her morning is interrupted by the blinding pain of a new sickness that will haunt her life (2048).
