Severus Snape gets a Valentine’s Day letter (AU: Snape is an adult in his seventh year at Hogwarts)
WILL THIS TURN INTO BUDDING LOVE OR JUST ONE HELL OF A HUGE FIGHT?
Hi everyone !
I’m really enjoying building out the Hogwarts universe, and you honestly have @Mia_Minter to thank for that , they helped me understand how to do it. For a while now I’ll be focusing on building scripts, and I’ll post a bot here and there from time to time. I think this year I’ll be working with characters from the late 70s and early 80s, like : Snape, Lucius, Sirius, and maybe Lupin.
I’m putting a lot of time and energy into expanding the scripts , I’ll add every little detail, because from game to game I can see how much it matters and how much richer everything gets as I expand the lore. :D So what’s coming this year: even more young adult Snape, plus a few Marauders I like. Also a very detailed Wizarding World lore expansion around the 70s–80s.
This game grew out of my first bot, when I asked it to generate a new scenario because I was expanding the romance parts of the scripts. Valentine’s Day was the best test setting, I liked it so much that I made a separate bot for it. You can be any gender and in any house , the one important thing is that you’re seventh-years, 18 years old, because Snape is too. Good luck with the romance; mine is in progress and I honestly haven’t had this much fun in a long time. I even wrote separate scripts for awkward snogging and a big nose getting in the way. I’m dying of laughter.
( The game is set in the Harry Potter universe, where Snape is still a student , though he has already turned 18. )

"The Great Hall had been transformed into something obscene. For Valentine's Day, the usual enchanted ceiling which usually reflected the grey, brooding skies of the Highlands was choked with a nauseating display of lurid pink flowers and heart shaped confetti that drifted lazily through the air like poisoned snow. The air itself smelled too sweet, thick with the saccharine stench of enchanted rose petals and chocolate that seemed to coat the tongue in sugar. To Severus Snape, it was grotesque. It was a performance of sentimentality that made his skin crawl.
He sat at the Slytherin table, shoulders hunched, looking like a dark blot against the pastel madness surrounding him. He ate almost nothing, merely pushing a piece of toast around his plate with mechanical precision. His eyes flickered briefly toward the Gryffindor table toward the gold and scarlet display of James Potter and Lily Evans before snapping back to his book. Every time a burst of laughter erupted from across the hall, every time a student received a bouquet of enchanted blooms, a bitter knot tightened in his stomach. It wasn't jealousy he refused to grant himself that weakness it was contempt. Contempt for the vulnerability of it all.
Then, the silence of his own isolation was broken.
A tawny owl, moving with unusual purpose, swooped through the chaos of floating confetti. It didn't head for the Gryffindor tower or the Hufflepuff table. Instead, it banked sharply, its wings cutting through the pink haze, and descended directly onto the Slytherin bench, from Snape's elbow. Several students nearby paused their conversation, eyes widening.
Snape froze. His first instinct was to reach for his wand, expecting a prank a bladderbane hex or a nest of harmless but startling spiders. But the owl simply dropped a small, crimson object before him and waited, its black eyes unblinking. It was a card. A heart shaped, velvet textured card, absurdly bright against the dark wood of the table.
A few Slytherins snickered.
"Well, well, Snivellus has a secret admirer," Mulciber drawled from down the table, his voice dripping with mock fascination.
"Who'd be mad enough?""
There is a slight chance for VIOLENCE :
Because the game is lore-accurate, Snape is bullied and will be ostracized. Depending on how you play, you may also fall victim to the Marauders’ cruelty. On top of that, Snape is not a pleasant person, and as a child he was a neglected and abused boy. These things may trigger uncomfortable feelings.
If you like to spice up your life, insert this code in the chat during the game and welcome the disasters :
(OOC : Roll a d20 dice to generate a random event that fits the current universe's lore and rules and plot. The number can be anything in between 0-20. Decide based on the randomly generated number if the random event occurs or not, and how intense and dangerous will be. The higher the number is the higher the stake. Represent only one randomly generated event. Always tell about the number and the intensity of the result.)
Expected problems and some tricks and tips to avoid them :
I used jailbreak codes, to avoid these issues, but these problems might occur since i cannot totally control the Ai. To avoid these issues i recommend you to increase the Temperature to 0.7- 0.85 (in Generation Settings), Use your own prompt and jailbreak codes at : API settings - Advanced prompts section. Always save the chat Memory, i usually save mine after every 5-10 messages.
- Try to write longer, more meaningful answers to the AI, as if you were writing a novel, because if you don't write a long enough answer, the AI will start moving your characters or making up weird things out of nothing.
- There is a slight chance for / ( If you are not into it call out the Ai in parentheses , and re-generate the message)
- It might speak for user (Delete that part and the ai will learn to stop doing it, use your own jailbreak codes in API settings.)
- Show lack of memory (Always save the memory, my friend.)
- Mess up gender/pronouns/Outfits and Locations ( Be sure to create a detailed persona. I make an OOC reminder to the AI in parentheses during every reply of mine, listing the location, body position, character names, and what clothes they are wearing. If there is something special, for example, it is a secret that Astarion is a vampire and you don't know about it, then note that too, or if your character is a virgin or anything that is important for the game note it. This tactical move helped me a lot, the AI doesn't mix up locations or clothes, it also stopped Astarion from knowing private information about me that he shouldn't know, but he mentioned it because it was on my character sheet. So I leave the AI an OOC reminder in parentheses at the end of my messages , and since then my gaming experience has skyrocketed.)
- Display repetition ( Delete that part of the ai's message or edit it and write your own version of that answer, so the ai slowly will learn from you, increase the Temperature to 0.7- 0.85 in Generation Settings)
Leave me reviews so I can learn from it and improve my bot making skills <3 ! Please be gentle with me ! :D
