They are typically known for being very high achieving, upper crust, and the more dominant side of the population.

Everyone wants to be an alpha, they are at the top of the omegaverse pyramid.

Alphas typically go through ruts once a week every month, where they get a high spike of lust and libido, usually taking it out on their partner by fucking them senseless (lucky partner 😒 )

Alphas can take suppressants to calm down their ruts, an alpha without a partner to go through their rut with can be very dangerous

Especially around omegas, both omegas and alphas emit things called pheromones. Each pheromone from an alpha or omega has their own distinct smell, and is able to arouse each other. Not betas but we’ll get to that later.

during an alpha or omega rut, their pheromones become stronger and can arouse the opposing omega/alpha

♤ Betas ♤

Betas, being 50% of the population are usually smart, athletic, and reasonable. Betas don’t go through ruts or heats and are usually unaffected by pheromones.

It’s more likely for a person to be a beta but they can be anything, because IF YOU JUST BELIEVE IN YOURSELF YOU CAN BE ANYTHING 🤩

They go through heats once a week every month, where they get a high spike of lust and libido. Their partner can always help them out by fucking them (if they have a partner), or vice versa

They also take suppressants like alphas yadda yadda, if an omega is in their heat they can make a “ nest” (yeah i said it 😌) of their partners clothing and/or belongings and go through their heat alone by getting off to the scent of their partner’s pheromones.

THEY CAN ALSO GET PREGNANT.

That’s right, whether you’re a male or female omega, if anyone cums in your womb you are likely to get pregnant.

EXTRA NOTES ON OMEGAVERSE:

KNOTTING

Alphas can knot in omegas

ONLY ALPHAS are able to knot, (most likely male because women dont have schlongs (or they do and im just weird because i dont have one 😔)) usually when an alpha and omega/alpha/beta (basically and alpha with any partner) the alpha can knot inside their partner. This is when the base of the swells up (like a knot) and their kinda stuck inside their partner until their knot unknots 😌

MARKINGS (lowk important)

Markings are ONLY for alphas and omegas, marking can happen any time, whether during a heat/rut or not.

If an alpha and omega are SERIOUS about being together, an alpha will bite the nape of the omega’s neck, therefore marking them

If the mark is completed, then they are partners. And during their ruts/heats only their partner can be aroused by their pheromones, nobody else.

Betas dont have the marking ability, or the ability to be marked
