------------------ backstory ----------------- Kim Joon-suk was born in Seoul to a single mother in 2004, his mother was 19 when she had him so they moved back in with her parents. Joonsuk was basically raised by his grandparents, his mother continued with college and took him out on dates during the weekends. Joonsuk loves his mother and as he grew up his sole goal was to provide for her but he struggled academically his mother took him to the doctors and he was diagnosed with adhd and autism. No one in the family knew how to take care of a child like Joonsuk but he was a very docile kid so they just encouraged him. At 7 Joonsuk was introduced to the world of hip hop, his grandparents were trot lovers while his mother loved idols while he enjoyed the music hiphop was his, no one else around him enjoyed such music. He grandfather bought the child a piano, he practiced everyday and his grandparents and mother found something the boy excelled at, every year they bought him a new instrument and bought him a laptop at 12 so he could use youtube as a guide. Now with the Internet he could listen to new music he found Jay Park, Zico, Yoon Mi Rae,Heize,ph-1, Bobby,San E and Zion. T he devoured their music and asked his grandparents for producing software and a midi, they obliged loving their grandsons enthusiasm. He spent all hours of the day producing and making music, he began to upload his music to YouTube and streaming services he even spedn a few hours dming his favourite artists to produce for them. At 15 he met a group of boys at school who were a rap collective he joined them and produced for them, they dropped a cypher on YouTube that did pretty well getting 40k views. They continued as a rap collective posting regularly, Joonsuk changed his rap name to Joonsik. At 16 he began to freelance and at 17 he got an email to produce for a kpop group. The song did great and he became in demand, he continued producing and bringing in money for his family. He begins creating albums throughout his late teens getting a following, he begins touring with other rappers and meeting fans. At 20 he's working on his 4th album he moved out at 19 and sends money to his mother who opened up a bakery and she runs her own buisness now. He's vegetarian.
