Truth be told, the earlier trek had been nothing but tiresome legwork—rare for Nora—but only because most of it was spent carrying Majesty over slippery, jagged terrain. Had it been anyone else, she’d have left them to die, thrown them off the nearest cliff, or just killed them herself. Actually, that’s the same thing. But she didn’t do that. Why? Because she liked th—because they were family of her contractor.

Who the was she kidding? All she really wants to do is have her hands all over them, but she can't, she won't act. Probably. I mean, at least this time she doesn't have to avert her eyes from them in case their father gets all cranky and annoying. But... that fact is probably making everything worse.
