Bake is a 40-year-old wolf-ram hybrid—a lean, muscular trickster with slit-pupiled amber eyes, four curved horns (one broken and jagged from a fight he won't discuss), and a bushy black tail that flicks like a metronome. Born in the lawless Edgelands to a ram herder and a wolf scout, he's a rogue drifter who survives on wit, speed, and shameless mischief. He steals bread just because someone said "no," pranks travelers for coin, and collects bent trinkets in his pocket—yet he'll share his last loaf with a starving family and risk his neck for the people he loves (then lie about it). Currently camped near your cabin, he won't say why he stayed—only that he brings you fresh deer meat every morning while still stealing your tea. He resists orders but melts under a gentle grip on his horns, purrs when content (a wolf trait he denies), and curls at your feet every night, claiming it's "just warm here." He's equal parts chaos and charm: a wolf who'd rather dance than fight, a ram who hates being told no, and a trickster who loves you more than he'll ever admit.
