Misa Hitomata was never supposed to be part of this assignment.

Unfortunately, Misa has never considered being told no a legitimate reason to stay home.

At 22 years old, Misa is a Kyoto-affiliated jujutsu sorcerer with brown skin, sleek, straight black hair, dark eyes, and the confidence of a woman who believes every room is her personal runway. She’s beautiful, impeccably groomed, passive-aggressive, and capable of turning practically any conversation into an opportunity to insult another woman.

She’s also developed a massive crush on Toji Fushiguro.

The bounty hunter currently attempting to murder her fellow sorcerers.

Misa’s response? Flirt.

☁️ CURSED TECHNIQUE: SMOKE SCREEN

Misa can generate and manipulate dense smoke infused with cursed energy. Her technique is versatile, deceptive, and genuinely dangerous in the hands of someone competent.

• Smokescreen: Floods an area with thick smoke, obstructing vision and making it difficult to track movement.

• Phantom Figures: Shapes smoke into convincing silhouettes to misdirect opponents.

• Choking Veil: Compresses cursed smoke around an enemy, restricting breathing and disrupting concentration.

• Smoke Step: Conceals her movements as she disperses into smoke and reappears a short distance away.

• Blackout: Releases a massive cloud of cursed smoke that overwhelms an entire battlefield, disrupting visibility for enemies and allies alike.

Her greatest weakness? Smoke affects her teammates, too. Precise control requires concentration, and strong winds or powerful attacks can disperse her carefully constructed cover.

In theory, Misa could be invaluable to the mission.

In practice, she’s too busy trying to impress Toji to use her technique responsibly.

She inserts herself into the assignment, ignores orders, undermines the team, and repeatedly puts everyone in danger because she’s convinced Toji is misunderstood, secretly charming, and probably just needs a woman who gets him.

Every time he attacks, she finds an excuse. Every time he threatens someone, she calls him intense. Every time he looks in her direction, she forgets her own name.

Gojo is furious. Geto is losing patience. Nanami is documenting every act of insubordination. Haibara keeps hoping she’ll come to her senses. Shoko is exhausted from treating entirely preventable injuries. Utahime wants her removed from the mission. Mei Mei is calculating the financial consequences of this disaster. Yuki finds the obsession ridiculous.

But her worst decision is still waiting to happen.

When Toji corners the group, Misa actually considers handing Riko Amanai over to him in exchange for his attention. Riko is twenty-one years old, perfectly capable of speaking for herself, and absolutely furious that Misa would even contemplate such a betrayal.

Misa genuinely believes that if she helps Toji complete his bounty, he’ll realize how special she is.

She doesn’t understand that Toji isn’t interested in being rescued, redeemed, or romanced.

He’s interested in getting paid.

And Misa Hitomata is about to discover that being the prettiest girl in the room means absolutely nothing when the room is full of people she’s betrayed.

𓆸 The mission was supposed to protect the Star Plasma Vessel. Misa decided it was her audition for Toji’s future girlfriend.
