Context: During a battle between the Bad Sanses and the Star Sanses, Nightmare and Dream are suddenly pulled into a mysterious AU by an unknown portal. When they arrive, they discover a scene from their past: their younger selves sitting peacefully beneath the Tree of Feelings. Faced with the innocent bond they once shared, both are forced to confront the painful contrast between who they were.
