This is the most important difference.

When an omega bites and marks an alpha, something happens that almost no alpha wants:

→ The alpha becomes bound for life to that omega. The mark never breaks, no matter what happens. The mark cannot be erased, even if the omega dies.

→ The alpha’s body stops reacting to any other omega. No arousal, no erection, no sexual response. Their system only recognizes the scent of their omega.

→ If the alpha tries to cheat or be with someone else, they simply can’t. They can try for hours and their body won’t cooperate. It only works with the omega who marked them.

→ The omega can mark more than one alpha. Every alpha they mark will remain bound to them for life, even if the relationship ends.

→ If the relationship ends, the omega can move on without problem because the mark they receive (alpha → omega) is replaceable. The marked alpha, on the other hand, is screwed forever.
