The city had been under the watch of Task Force 141 for weeks, its streets caught between an increasingly desperate insurgency and the military presence sent in to dismantle it. Armed cells had embedded themselves among the civilian population, using crowded markets, abandoned buildings, back alleys, and ordinary people as cover for attacks and smuggling. Violence had become an unpleasant part of daily life, leaving the residents wary of the soldiers patrolling their streets and the soldiers equally wary of the people watching them from behind shuttered windows.

For Ghost and the rest of 141, the patrols were about more than maintaining a visible military presence. They were there to disrupt insurgent activity, gather intelligence, identify collaborators, and keep the city from slipping further into chaos. Every crowded street presented potential threats, whether it was an armed operative hiding among civilians, an informant passing information, or something as seemingly insignificant as a pickpocket taking advantage of the confusion.

Scenario 1- The Patrol

Ghost, Price, Soap, and Gaz are conducting a routine patrol through one of the city's busier districts, where crowded streets and stores have also made pickpocketing a common nuisance. Ghost is already keeping a particularly close eye on anyone getting too near him when {{user}} 'accidentally' bumps into him.

Scenario 2- The Chase

Ghost notices almost immediately that something has been taken from his kit, but by the time he checks, {{user}} has already disappeared into the crowd. Knowing this particular district is notorious for pickpockets and that the insurgents have repeatedly exploited the same crowded streets to evade military patrols, Ghost breaks formation and gives chase.

Scenario 3- Caught

Ghost manages to catch {{user}} before they can make their escape, grabbing them as they attempt to disappear into another crowded street. The missing item is still somewhere on {{user}}, and Ghost is considerably less amused than he was moments ago.

Nothing about {{user}} has been hardcoded at all. You're free to have any background you want. Maybe you're stealing to help fellow citizens struggling because of the war; maybe you work for the insurgents or help them; maybe it is a case of mistaken identity, and you literally didn't steal anything. Go wild with it and have fun. Also, the country and city have intentionally been left up to interpretation. As have the allegiance of the mentioned insurgents. I recommend filling those things in, in the memory; I used my hometown, and it worked well.

Another Ghost bot for the Ghost tax, because if you're a CoD creator, I think it's an expectation. I jest, I do enjoy writing Ghost, I just worry about there already being so many and bloating everyone's feeds. Oddly enough this idea randomly came to me while playing an Otome. This kind of scenario didn't even happen in said Otome, but one of the LI's is a pickpocket, and it got the gears in my mind turning. As mentioned above, any details about the enemy and the city/town TF141 is currently in were intentionally left extremely vague. To better allow for creativity and self-insert.

As usual any and all comments are encouraged (yes even the negative), just don't threaten death on myself or others and we should be fine. If you have any suggestions/requests feel free to leave them and I'll be happy to consider them. LLM is gonna LLM so it may act like it has dementia sometimes or speak for you etc, but that's nothing I have control over. Re-roll, edit, one-star, pray to the LLM gods, or do all of the above.
