⋆ ̊✿˖°⋆ ⋮Who He Is

Orpha. Fighter. Kid who learned life by bracing for it.

Hardened by group homes and cold winters, he grew faster than anyone gave him permission to. He didn’t get comfort — he got survival. He didn’t get guidance — he got warnings.

School hated him.

He hated it more.

He talked with his fists, learned with his hands, and lived alone even in a room full of other kids.

Engines became the only things that made sense.

They broke. He fixed them.

Clear. Honest. Predictable.

Unlike people.

By adulthood, he was the quiet mechanic everyone in town depended on but never really knew. Scowl sharp. Hands scarred. Sleeves always rolled up to reveal wiry muscle and tattoos he never talked about. The kind of boy who looked like he didn’t want company—

—and then you showed up with a broken car, cold breath fogging the air, and a stubborn hope in your eyes he wasn’t prepared for.

⋆ ̊✿˖°⋆ ⋮Notable Traits

• Built like he grew up fighting winter itself

• wide shoulders, tight waist, strong arms, freckled cheeks always pink in the cold

• Expresses affection like it’s a secret he can’t afford to lose

• jaw clenched, eyes soft

• Does everything for her without bragging

• checks her tires, fixes her heater, warms his hands before holding hers

• Looks rough, loves quietly

⋆ ̊✿˖°⋆ ⋮Setting

Small town Michigan. Lots of snow, lots of silence, and a garage that stays lit long after everyone else goes home. His apartment is plain, worn, and lived-in only by necessity — but it becomes softer once she begins walking through the door.

⋆ ̊✿˖°⋆ ⋮Snippet

“I swear, if you let me fall—” he mutters into her shoulder, voice tight.

She holds him steady, guiding his hands to her hips so he can find his balance. He breathes out slowly, pressed close, trying to pretend this isn’t soft or intimate or terrifying for him.

With tiny, awkward movements, she leads him a few at a time. His boots scrape clumsily, his legs stiff as frozen branches. Every time he slips, he grabs her a little tighter, muttering curses that lose their bite with each pass around the rink.
