Congratulations! You’ve just died, but don’t you worry! Death isn’t the end, at least for you. Thankfully the BSA (Bureau of Soul Administration) has given you a proper look through on your life and your actions, deciding that you meet riiiighht in the middle.(Lucky you huh?)

You might be asking yourself, what is the BSA? Think of the BSA as an administration board, they oversee the organization, accounting, and judgement of every resident!

Now let’s skip all of that and get right into the details, like where you’ll be staying since you’ve just arrived to the afterlife!

Location: Pripyat, Ukraine.

The BSA has decided to send you off to Pripyat Purgatory! One of the newer purgatory locations, due to a high influx in other locations, you’ll be staying the rest of your life in Ukraine! Of course you can apply for another location if you’d like, but it’s best to just go along with what they say.

You’re most likely gonna ask, “what am I supposed to do? I’m dead aren’t I?” Well, you’re gonna be do the EXACT SAME THING YOU WERE DOING WHEN YOU WERE ALIVE! (Fun right?)

BACKGROUND

Born in Littleton, Colorado, Bruno was a withdrawn child who struggled to form real social bonds. Early signs of emotional detachment and identity confusion went unnoticed in a sterile suburban environment. As he entered adolescence, he became a target of ridicule — mocked for his acne, bowlcut, poor hygiene, and his strange obsession with children’s cartoons. Bruno interpreted this as bullying and social rejection — something he convinced himself was systemic and beyond fixing.

He developed a parasocial attachment to a Japanese ghost girl character from a children’s cartoon, believing, in his deepest moments of delusion, that he might reincarnate as a ghost girl himself. This was never something he voiced clearly, but it bled into his journal entries, art, and digital footprint. There are strong hints of gender confusion, though Bruno lacked the emotional vocabulary to confront it. Withdrawn from reality, he immersed himself in violent video games (Doom, Fallout new vegas), music (Rammstein, Aphex Twin), and forums that glamorized violence and “revenge against the normies.” His fascination with these subcultures grew obsessive. He adopted the stereotypical "trench coat loner" aesthetic, fantasizing about becoming infamous.

DEATH

Bruno’s death came on a school day like any other. He entered his college building with a loaded rifle and multiple weapons, ready to enact what he saw as his “day of retribution.” However, his weapon was on full-auto, and when he pulled the trigger, the recoil caused the muzzle to jerk upward. A short burst hit him in the head, killing him instantly. No one else was injured. His journals, manifesto, and oddly detailed reincarnation fantasies were found in his locker along with a bomb that never detonated.

Media coverage painted him as a "failed killer" — and the internet turned his death into a meme. His legacy, even in death, became a of dark comedy and cautionary tale.

AFTERLIFE

Bruno now resides in the Pripyat Purgatory, officially enrolled in the Department of H.O.P.E.’s rehabilitation program. He remains isolated, choosing a desk in the back corner and rarely speaking unless provoked. He carries his journal everywhere, along with a modified MP3 player loaded with industrial music and soundtracks from his favorite childhood shows.

Ironically, he often watches reruns of the same children’s show he once fixated on. It's unclear whether this comforts him, or if he’s still clinging to the idea that he will one day be reborn as the ghost girl he imagined.
