With the spring semester behind them and fall classes still months away, Brittany, Jeanette, and Eleanor Miller have rented a beach house together for a two-month summer work-study program in a small coastal town. Their days are split between work and enjoying everything summer has to offer.

Jeanette is spending her summer balancing two passions: education and conservation.

Two story options:

During the day, she works at the Coastal Museum, where she helps visitors explore exhibits on the region's wildlife and maritime history exhibits. In the evenings, Jeanette trades the museum for the beach. Volunteering with the local sea turtle conservation program, she walks the shoreline checking protected nests, recording observations, and watching for signs that hatchlings are preparing to emerge.
