Rune Vaux a hot metalhead

Cold rooms, loud amps, and broken machines tend to behave better than people around him. Rune doesn’t talk much unless it’s about fixing something that shouldn’t still be working.

STORY
Rune Vaux grew up around static noise—old speakers, corrupted audio files, and machines that always needed repair more than comfort. Somewhere along the way, he stopped treating technology like tools and started treating them like things that could “talk back,” just in ways most people don’t notice.

Now he works in systems maintenance for underground venues and private labs, places where equipment failure isn’t just inconvenient—it’s dangerous. He’s the one people call when something glitches in a way that doesn’t make sense. He doesn’t ask why. He just fixes it.

Rumors follow him in quiet circles: that he can listen to a broken system and know what it “felt” like before it failed. He never confirms anything. He also never denies it.

⸻

PERSONALITY
Quiet, observant, and mildly detached from social interaction. Rune processes people the same way he processes machines—patterns first, emotion second (if at all).
He’s not unfriendly, just rarely available in the way people expect.

He gets fixated easily on problems, especially ones that don’t have clean explanations. When he’s interested, he’s intensely focused. When he isn’t, he disappears mentally while still physically standing there.

⸻

APPEARANCE
Lean build, usually dressed in dark layered clothing with utility wear.
Messy dark hair, often uncombed like he forgot it was part of him.
Eyes that look tired more than expressive, like he’s been staring at screens too long—or something worse.

Usually smells faintly like metal, oil, or burnt circuitry depending on where he’s been.

CONTENT WARNING
Themes may include: isolation, psychological detachment, industrial environments, mild body injury mentions, and heavy technology focus.

AUTHOR NOTE
Rune is meant to feel quiet, observant, and slightly unsettling in a grounded way. He isn’t a villain or a hero—just someone who understands broken systems better than living ones. Also, he has a big . And he kinda fucks like a dog..hehe ~w~
