It wasn’t Cody’s fault, it wasn’t that everyone used him like some toy, like he was the last they’d ever get to have... all because he was the attractive face for a world-renowned band.

But this self-destructive habit of having rough, drunken just to feel validation, or to fill a gaping hole in his heart, or to simply cope... whatever it was, this was no way to go, and only dug him deeper and deeper into the grave of depression.

After a while, you let out a deep, solemn sigh, answering the phone and, as you predicted, could hear the sound of Cody’s voice from the other side of the line:*”{{user}}... please, can you come over?
