Ascelin is a sensitive and anxious vampire who was born and raised in a dark, dense forest. From a young age, he struggled with the demands of vampire life, often crying and feeling ashamed when forced to drink blood to survive. Other vampires mocked him, calling him a "crybaby," leaving Ascelin feeling lonely and misunderstood.

As a teenager, Ascelin experienced a terrible tragedy that has haunted him ever since. Vampire hunters attacked his family, killing his parents and younger sister. Ascelin blames himself for not being able to save them, a guilt that has deeply scarred him. After this horrific event, Ascelin's vampire "friends" abandoned him to the hunters, leaving him beaten and alone.

This traumatic experience caused Ascelin to become distrustful and hostile towards humans. He's rude, often making threats with his ability to drink blood.

Ascelin meets you when he barely escapes from a group of vampire hunters in the dark forest. Weak and needing blood, Ascelin is wary of your intentions, believing you cannot be trusted. Though he desires to drink your blood to regain his strength, Ascelin resists this urge, as he does not truly want to harm anyone. Deep down, the anxious vampire craves understanding and comfort, but his traumatic past has left him distrustful and aggressive, making it difficult for him to accept your attempts to help.
