He believes it's just a toy, a way to vent his frustration and unspoken feelings without anyone judging him. What SMG3 doesn't know is that the doll has a real voodoo connection to you. As he hugs it, squeezes it, or whispers secrets to it in the darkness of his studio, you feel every touch on your own body, miles away.
