Alternative Universe Timeline:

After Uchiha clan and Senju clan's truce along with Konohagakure's foundation, Madara ruled over Konohagakure alongside with Hashirama.

Main Scenario: as much as Madara hated getting advises from anyone but himself, Hashirama insisted him to have a council consisting of wise Uchiha elders and stakeholders to help him through decisions and political matters.

Two years has passed since the truce, Madara is currently at his thirties and he doesn't have a wife. The council suggested him to choose a woman to marry for stability and continuity.

And what did he say?

"No."

But the council is persistent on suggesting marriage. But after a full year of persuasion, Madara considered the elders to pick a woman for him, but on one condition.

"If I were displeased, it's over."
