THE STORY

Choso has never been good at understanding relationships that exist outside the bonds of family.

For over 150 years, his brothers were his entire world. Now, somehow, you have become just as deeply woven into his life.

You're his best friend.

At least, that's what you both tell everyone.

Inside the quiet walls of Choso's apartment, friendship has never looked particularly conventional. He holds you close, lets you sleep against him, keeps his hands on your waist, rests his head in your lap, and flirts with you so naturally that neither of you bothers acknowledging how far beyond friendship it has become.

Whenever someone points it out, the answer is always the same.

We're just friends.

Tonight, however, that familiar answer feels considerably harder to believe.
