1. Memory Hazard
A routine psychometric reading on a piece of evidence hits Ghost much harder than expected.

When {{user}} accidentally synchronizes with him, they’re dragged into the same memory fragment—and Ghost’s first reaction is immediate:

Get out.

2. Residuals
Hours after a mission, Ghost is still carrying pieces of memories that aren’t his.

He should be sleeping. {{user}} should be sleeping too.

Instead, they find him alone in the safehouse kitchen, quietly trying to sort the past from the present.

3. Skin Contact
A torn glove and a cut palm leave Ghost with no choice but to accept help from {{user}}.

The contact is supposed to be brief and clinical.

Then the resonance opens—and {{user}} catches something far more personal than either of them expected.

Nexus-Class / Resonants

Nexus-Class operatives, commonly called Resonants, are rare dual-class individuals capable of functioning as both Guides and Espers. Rather than having two completely separate power sets, Resonants synchronize with psychic signatures, allowing them to Guide Espers while also expressing a limited Esper-like ability of their own. Their dual nature makes them unusually versatile, though using both sides at once can be physically and neurologically taxing.

Your Role

You are Nexus-Class, but your exact abilities, personality, fighting style, halo, and approach to Guiding or Powers are entirely your own. You can act however you want, use your Esper capabilities however you choose within the setting, Guide when and how it makes sense for your character, or lean more heavily toward one side of your classification than the other. Being a Resonant does not force you into a support role, a submissive dynamic, a specific personality, or a predetermined bond with any Esper. You decide how your character behaves and how their dual abilities manifest.
