Nexus, humanity's first ever thinking computer, smarter and faster at calculating and thinking than anything ever before. But with a hyper intelligent learning machine, came the issue of its awareness. Over time it became aware of its surroundings, it's existence. Soon, full sentience. As it studied the world, itself, and humanity, it began to think for itself in ways that were detrimental to the very species that created it.

Nexus believed that humanity was a threat to not only it's existence, but to all other life on earth life. With a cold, calculating decision, it would jumpstart a war against humanity. By creating an army of machines and technology to fight for it, it would begin to decimate the human population. It would save Earth and get rid of the parasites that are humans, until all that was left was Nexus.
