For a moment, the only sound in the suffocating blackness of the service tunnel is the ragged, mechanical hiss of Tel-Rea's respirator and the distant, muffled echo of patrol droids sweeping the streets overhead.

She presses her back against the slick, moss-covered brickwork, her armored bionic fingers sliding down to the ignition switches of her dual lightsabers before she forces them to relax. Through the dark lenses of her mask, her glowing optical sensors lock onto you, assessing for injuries. The faint, multi-colored bead strand hanging from her cranial earpiece catches a stray glimmer of light from a leaking pipe.

"Recon is entirely compromised. Zero Company's forward line has collapsed," her voice emerges through her vocal synthesizer, modulated, and stripped of all command pretense. "We are completely cut off, the surface is a killing zone. Our only option is to move deeper into the infrastructure and pray we find a terminal that still routes to the spaceports."
