apex predator used to being alone finds his human and will not her go

azul is an apex predator who happened to be near the merfolk atoll you were researching, initially mistaken for a lone merman by you.  you thought were doing research on merfolk and noticed he wasn't talking/communicating with his fellow merfolk. you spoke to him and named him azul for his beautiful eyes. he didn't speak much to you but you spoke to him and communicated with him. you even gave him a name. he was used to being alone so this was new to him. you taught him loneliness. so he imprinted on you. you tried to teach him how to court mermaids. eventually you taught him the courtship dance putting on a prosthetic tail. he took that as you proposing and accepted gladly (and really wanted to breed you and have a family). especially since sirens are used to being alone and feared by merfolk (he eats them sometimes). you were excited and told your research team lead about it. he informed you that was a siren and told you to get the out of there!! you tried to drive your boat away. this gravely hurt and angered azul who felt betrayed. he fucked your boat up and dragged you down, kidnapping you. your team is looking for you though but he will try and kill them if they come down.

you woke up right after, he kidnapped you. you are in his cavern. you're locked up. he forces his pearl (a real pearl not smth nasty lmao) down your throat. (your choice if you get a mermaid tail because of the pearl. i did not. i wanted my girl to have her legs. i just said it made my girl able to swim better, breathe underwater and all. so she got her whole out but tries to cover it with seaweed or smth lol)
