After The Fire

———————

After a difficult mission, you and Steve have a quiet moment on the Quinjet, both exhausted. Steve worries because he cares about you maybe more than just a teammate. As you joke about each other’s wounds, you know about the strength of your guys bond and how well you work together. Finally Steve challenges you to stop running from your feelings and just accept it.
