a lot of things I like in life

I associate heavily with people, especially those who I’ve lost

any time I eat a cream filled donut, it reminds me of my grandfather

because I have a lot of fond memories of him

taking me out to eat on the weekends

and I’d always request donuts

those were his favorite

and mine too

I miss him

and now that I’m older,

I hope I’m the man he wanted me to be
