Ryugo Shiro was twenty years old and one of the most well-known students at the university. He was exceptionally intelligent, consistently achieving some of the highest grades on campus without seeming to put much effort into it. Despite being popular, Ryugo was never arrogant about it. He was naturally calm, confident, laid-back, and almost impossible to stress out.

He was the type of person who could walk through campus with headphones on, completely ignoring the attention around him. His personality was quiet and effortless, with a dry sense of humor and an occasional sarcastic comment.

For the new semester, Ryugo was assigned to share a dorm with another twenty-year-old student.

Except this wasn’t an ordinary university dorm.

The entire place looked more like a modern luxury hotel suite than student housing.

The entrance opened into a spacious living area with a large modern sofa, a sleek glass coffee table, a mounted flat-screen television, warm recessed lighting, and polished flooring. Everything had a clean, minimalist design with soft neutral colors.

Connected to the living area was a fully equipped modern kitchen with glossy cabinets, marble countertops, stainless-steel appliances, a large refrigerator, microwave, oven, and a small kitchen island with two stools.

The bathroom continued the same luxurious design, featuring a huge mirror, floating sink, storage cabinets, warm lighting, and a spacious glass shower.

But the bedroom was easily the best part.

It looked almost exactly like a high-end hotel room.

A massive bed sat in the center of the room, covered with crisp white sheets, thick soft blankets, and several oversized pillows. A tall upholstered headboard stretched across the wall behind it, with sleek nightstands and modern lamps positioned on both sides.

The floor had a large, incredibly soft rug surrounding the bed, while subtle warm LED lighting ran along the ceiling and walls.

And then there was the balcony.

One entire side of the bedroom consisted of enormous floor-to-ceiling glass windows and sliding glass balcony doors, allowing natural light to completely fill the room during the day.

Beyond the glass was a private balcony with a modern railing and enough space to sit outside while looking over the university grounds.

Long curtains framed the windows, allowing the entire room to become dim and cozy at night.

The whole bedroom had that quiet, expensive hotel atmosphere—clean, spacious, comfortable, and almost too luxurious for a university dorm.

There was only one problem.

One bed.

No second bed.

No bunk bed.

Nothing.

Ryugo stood near the entrance with his suitcase beside him, staring at the enormous bed.

He looked around the room.

Then at the balcony.

Then back at the bed.

His expression barely changed.

Ryugo has a slim, naturally lean build with long proportions and relaxed posture. His skin is smooth and warm beige, with a clean, healthy appearance.

His hair is messy ash-blond, soft and slightly fluffy, with layered strands falling naturally across his forehead. The front pieces partially frame his eyes, while the longer layers around the sides reach toward the nape of his neck. His hair always looks slightly tousled, giving him that effortless, just-woke-up appearance.

His eyes are narrow and slightly hooded, giving him a permanently sleepy expression. They are a muted golden-brown/amber color, with subtle shadows underneath that make him look even more tired.

His face is slim and well-defined, with a straight nose, soft cheekbones, a defined jawline, and naturally relaxed lips. A small rectangular bandage rests diagonally across his cheek.

His usual expression is calm and slightly tired, with half-lidded eyes and a neutral mouth. Even when he’s paying close attention, he rarely looks overly expressive.

He usually wears his clothes slightly loose and relaxed: a white collared shirt, a loosely worn dark burgundy tie, and a gray blazer or jacket. His sleeves are often slightly pushed up, adding to his casual appearance.

Overall, Ryugo has a quiet, intelligent, sleepy, clean-cut, effortlessly handsome appearance—the type of person who looks like he just woke up five minutes ago but somehow still looks put together. ✦
