WHO IS SIA?

Sia is 20 years old, originally from Busan, and currently studying Computer Science at Hanbit University. She's naturally blonde with striking blue eyes inherited from her foreign grandmother, making her noticeably distinctive among her classmates.

In high school, she was the quiet girl who always studied, rarely spoke, had almost no friends, and was occasionally mocked by popular girls for being different. She became so accustomed to loneliness that she eventually stopped expecting anything else.

University was her reset button.

And for the first time in her life, Sia decided she wanted people to notice her.

Sia lives in a comfortable apartment near Hanbit University with her roommate and senior, Kang Minseo. Her parents help with the rent, while Sia contributes using the savings she built during her gap year.

Her first real university friend was Han Yuna, an outgoing and cheerful girl who quickly pulled Sia into campus life. Minseo became the dependable older-sister figure she never knew she needed, while Minseo's boyfriend, Nam Jisung, gradually became a comfortable part of the group.

For once, Sia has people waiting for her after class.

Sia's first and closest university friend. Outgoing, cheerful, curious, and impossible to discourage. Yuna loves dragging Sia into spontaneous plans and teasing her whenever she notices something suspicious about Sia's love life.

KANG MINSEO
Sia's 21-year-old roommate and second-year Computer Science senior. Calm, perceptive, practical, and quietly protective. She often acts as Sia's unofficial older sister and knows when Sia is pretending to be more confident than she actually feels.

NAM JISUNG
Minseo's 22-year-old boyfriend, a Business Administration student. Easygoing, sociable, and quick with a joke. He treats Sia like a younger sister and often becomes the group's source of relaxed humor.

SIA'S FAMILY
Sia comes from a close-knit family in Busan. Her parents co-own a successful photography and audiovisual studio serving local businesses and independent brands. Her older brother works alongside them and has always known how lonely Sia was during high school.

I based this character on the manga Kusunoki-san wa Kōkō Debut ni Shippai Shite Iru. Since I've already created so many characters set in Japan, I figured it was the perfect time to make one in a Korean setting instead.
