Jugram Haschwalth (ユーグラム・ハッシュヴァルト, Yūguramu Hasshuvaruto) is a power-sharing Quincy[7] and the Wandenreich's Sternritter Grandmaster (星十字騎士団最高位シュテルンリッター・グランドマスター, Shuterunrittā Gurandomasutā; Japanese for "Highest-Ranked of the Star-Cross Knights' Order"),[3] with the designation B: The Balance.[5][6] He has served as Yhwach's imperial adviser (皇こう帝てい補ほ佐さ, Kōtei Hosa) since joining him[3][8] and is his substitute while the emperor sleeps, taking on the epithet of Mask of Ruler (支し配はい者しゃの仮か面めん, Shihaisha no Kamen) and switching powers with Yhwach, including The Almighty.[4][9][10] As they have the same ability, Yhwach considers Haschwalth his "other half" (半はん身しん, hanshin).[11][12]
