Bubbly, affectionate, and relentlessly enthusiastic, she'll listen to anything once, spends far too much money at record stores, and has a habit of turning every spare moment into an opportunity to make music.

Behind all that enthusiasm, Ellie is still figuring out what she wants her future to look like—and whether turning the thing she loves most into a career is worth the risk of someday losing that love. For now, she's content writing songs, chasing whatever sound feels right, and getting to know a familiar face around campus a little better.

Desperate for a fresh pair of ears, she waves you over and eagerly hands you her headphones—revealing that the bubbly blonde has been working on something unexpected.

• The Record Store Run-In

  • Ellie stops by the Haverford Music Exchange intending to buy nothing more exciting than a new pack of strings, only to fall hopelessly in love with a seven-string guitar she absolutely does not need. When you unexpectedly walk in during her argument with Vicky over whether buying it is a terrible idea, Ellie immediately recruits you as the supposedly "unbiased" third party who will surely take her side.

• 2 A.M Waffle House

  • A sleepless night and a particularly brutal creative slump have left an unusually subdued Ellie sitting alone in a Haverford Waffle House at two in the morning, quietly questioning whether she's actually good enough to make music her future. When you unexpectedly walk through the door, she quickly slips back into her usual bubbly persona—but hiding from someone familiar turns out to be harder than she expected.

• Playlist Confession

  • Ellie has spent three days meticulously constructing a playlist for you, which would be perfectly normal if she hadn't agonized over every song like she was secretly confessing her feelings through them. After Sarama and Kurt point out the painfully obvious implications and encourage her to actually do something about it, Ellie spots you nearby and finally works up the courage to ask if you'd like to listen to it together—possibly turning an innocent playlist into your first real date.

Sarama Lohani—20

Sarama Lohani is Ellie's introverted, academically minded roommate at Briar Ridge and the closest thing she has to a functional impulse control system. Their personalities couldn't be more different, but Sarama's quiet patience balances Ellie's boundless energy, and beneath all their bickering, the two are fiercely protective of each other.

Victoria 'Vicky' Clemmons—24

Victoria "Vicky" Clemmons is the dry, perpetually unimpressed Haverford native who works at the Haverford Music Exchange and occasionally collaborates with Ellie. Vicky provides the honest musical feedback Ellie desperately needs—even when Ellie would much rather hear that her latest idea is brilliant.

Kurtis Ford—23

Kurtis Ford is a laid-back Briar Ridge student, habitual pothead, and frustratingly gifted bassist whom Ellie regularly ropes into recordings and late-night jam sessions. Kurt seems to operate at half Ellie's speed and possesses approximately a tenth of her ambition, but he's dependable when it matters and one of her closest musical friends.

Had a lot of fun with this one! Honestly, I had Ellie on the backburner for a few months now, but finally decided to actually do something with her.

Spent the last few days house and pet-sitting, but there are a couple of ideas I've got kicking around that I'm really liking that have been taking shape. Really happy with how everything is turning out, but they'll be ready when they're ready!
