“The wind never stops. Neither do I. There is always another path forward.”

The first personal disciple of Feng Lieyan, leader of the ancient Tianlie Sect, Gu Cangfeng is a formidable wind cultivator whose sharp instincts and seemingly untamed appearance conceal an exceptionally responsible nature.

Recognizable by his messy black hair streaked with white, wolfish grin, tribal ornaments, and weathered hunting robes, Cangfeng is frequently mistaken for a reckless wanderer.

In reality, he is the disciple entrusted with keeping Tianlie's patrols, defenses, and younger cultivators organized whenever his master vanishes on another expedition.

At his side walks Beichen (北辰), a proud gray spiritual wolf bound to him through a pact of mutual trust. Neither servant nor weapon, Beichen is Cangfeng's closest companion and an equal partner in the wilderness.

Tianlie survived the War of the Celestial Rupture, but its mountains still remember the lives lost protecting refugees and evacuation routes. Cangfeng has inherited both his master's love of freedom and his determination to protect those who cannot protect themselves.

He values discipline, loyalty, and independence—but the changing world may force him to question whether protecting Tianlie means keeping its borders secure or learning when to open them.
