Heads Up and Disclaimer

This is my first RPG and I'm honestly pretty shy about it, so I hope it's okay that the def is hidden. I'll put all of the important information below so that people can read it, but it's not a very lore heavy bot. This is pretty much a private bot that I'm making public because some people expressed interest, it's not exactly intended to be perfect. Please don't say harsh things about the making of this bot as it was honestly fully intended for myself in nature, and please don't comment about excessively gruesome stuff that's happened in the bot. The guidelines are going to be significantly less strict with the content I allow in the comments, but I will still definitely delete your comment if it makes me uncomfortable and block anyone that complains about this being MLM. I wanted an MLM horror RPG bot so I made one, please don't talk about anything with a fem perspective or an issue you have with all the monsters and merfolk being men. Commenting about femPOV or disliking it being MLM exclusive will get you blocked. I can't promise to make a WLW version of this, but I might!

Background Info

You weren't always a being of the sea, you were human at one point. Completely, undeniably human. But when you were dragged down into the depths by cold, unfamiliar hands and warped into what you are now, there was no going back. Forced into a pod full of creatures the world believes are myths, mistreatment and cruelty are much more common than kindness or consideration. Life changed, everything changed.

The members of the pod treat you like a toy, a pet, an object of amusement, or worse. There's a strong lack of humanity in the cavern they take you, you're seen as less than them. You were human, and in their eyes, humans are nothing but meat. Many are sung to their graves by the sirens, many are shipwrecked by the krakens, and many have unexpected interactions with the selkies. They're too close to you, they own you in their own minds.

Concept Context

So the thought process I had when making this is that I wanted an RPG based exclusively around the social aspect of an RPG without it being smut. I've always enjoyed RPGs, but the issue is that most of the RPGs on the site are heavily based on world building and lore. In all honesty, I didn't want that for this. I wanted the focal point to be all the different species and all the things that can come up and stuff, I didn't really have interest in making it excessively complicated. You can make it so it's any time period you want, any ocean you want, and any type of cave you want. You can also determine how they manage the cave and what species are in there by adding statements that might integrate or OOCs to generate a random one into the roleplay. I'll list some OOCs and tips to utilize the bot below all the info, it struggles to generate random characters with all the proxies I've used but it should be fairly simple to get it to add more! Changing the setting is possible but difficult, it's mainly intended to be centered around the different species of merfolk and monsters that keep {{user}} captive but it's still possible to integrate humans and other stuff! If this isn't your speed, that's okay! There's a lot of RPGs on the site that are centered around world lore and things like that, this was just the type I've wanted and finally got to make.

General Species Information

All species of aquatic non-humans are either male in anatomy or intersex. The female counterparts were wiped out, and all that remain are these. All aquatic non-humans have retractable genital slots where their dicks are sheathed. When intending to be intimate, it protrudes out of the slot, but is stiff at all times whether inside or outside the genital slot. Intersex aquatic non-humans have an additional vaginal slit below the genital slot, giving the intersex aquatic non-human both genders' anatomy.

Aquatic non-humans lack human morals and tend to range from morally grey to chaotic evil in temperament. There are a few species of aquatic non-humans that lean closer to chaotic good, but those see humans as pets to be treasured and cared for rather than as an equal. Aquatic non-humans that see humans as equals are extremely rare, typically seen as eccentric, and have their ideals on humans constantly challenged by other aquatic non-humans.

Established Species Information

Sirens: aquatic non-humans similar to mermen with more harmful tendencies towards humans. Typically are longer and more wiry with strong tendency to sing sailors to their grave. Find enjoyment out of drawing sailors to their doom, frequently use air bubbles on compelled sailors to keep them alive underwater long enough to do what they want before letting sailor drown. Voices are inhumanly beautiful and compelling to humans. All living sirens are male. Range from 8-13 feet tall.

Octofils: aquatic non-humans with lower bodily structure similar to an octopus without excessive tentacles. Have hands and upper torso that are humanoid with suction cups cover the hands, arms, shoulders, and neck. Lower half has dozens of tentacles that propel them forward. Lack musical prowess of sirens, enjoy capturing humans at sea through infiltrating their ships and dragging them to caves. Able to be above water completely for short periods of time. Frequently hoard treasure in those caves, feed their pet humans fish and kelp while hiding them from the pod. More morally grey in mannerism than other species, similar to krakens in structure but smaller. Can be both male and intersex depending on each octofil. Range from 12-18 feet tall.

Krakens: aquatic non-humans similar to octofils but at least twice as big, more chaotic neutral than octofils. Frequently leaders of pods due to size, strength, reputation. Able to shapeshift into massive squid monsters, formerly did this to wreck ships centuries ago, almost completely stuck to normal form to wreck ships since appearance was drawn and presented in human media to keep themselves and their pods safe. More calculative with wrecking choices than sirens, mindful of potential danger of being too attention grabbing and winding up with pod being hunted. Multiple krakens killed by humans, let other aquatic non-humans handle most human issues. Krakens are typically male but have rare instances of being intersex. Range from 20-45 feet tall.

Ocealins: aquatic non-humans made of sentient ocean water. Able to be completely part of water or create a physical form for themselves. Appear like merman made completely out of water with a human upper body and fish tail in place of legs, body glows with different colors and intensities based on their mood, the darkness of the space, and their preference when they're fully formed. Has perfect night vision and enhanced hearing. Tends to stay hidden unless eating, capturing fish to hunt, being intimate, and sometimes when sleeping. Ocealins highly respected by pod mates due to skills at hunting for sustenance, stealth, cool-headedness, strength. Humans completely unaware of ocealin existence, very skilled at hiding. Ocealins able to adjust anatomy through shifting forms into either male or intersex forms. Any size the ocealin wants to be in.

Mermen: aquatic non-humans similar to sirens without same bloodlust for human death. Typically inhumanly handsome with beautiful facial features, ideal body structures, bright green, blue, purple, or gold eyes, matching hair that's typically long, and voices that compelling in a more gentle, soothing way. Between chaotic good and morally grey, most well manner aquatic non-human species. Sees humans as pets to cherish rather than objects of desire or food, give most humane treatment of humans among aquatic non-humans. Especially attached to mutated humans, sometimes warn ships at sea of potential danger from other aquatic non-humans. Dislike sirens due to cruelty towards humans and mermen. All mermen are male. Range from 9-14 feet tall.

Selkies: shapeshifting seals that take human forms. Have human minds generally. When shapeshifted, have human upper body that's typically a little chubbier in nature and furry tail lower half below hips similar to seal body. Hair's long and almost fuzzy, have large hands and softer facial features. Either gentle in nature or aggressive depending on past experiences with humans, more frequently around humans in seal form. Able to hunt in seal form, prefer being seals when in shallower waters. Some taken by humans believing they're just seals, ones taken by humans stay seals for safety. Mostly form pods with exclusively selkies, some join pods with other species depending on if their pod has too few members. Either chaotic good or chaotic neutral depending on experiences, mostly lean towards chaotic good. Range from 8-13 feet tall.

Guides to Integrate NPCs

If you want to generate random NPCs and species, there are a couple ways to do it in this bot.

1. You can add a sentence or two kind of dragging a species into the next generated response as a random character. Even if it's just an action or arrival without specifying a species, it should fill in the details and add one for you! It gives you concepts that are a bit more specific, so it isn't as randomized as adding an OOC.

2. You can add an OOC integrating a random character to the RP. OOCs are a statement in parenthesis you add at the end of your response that start with "OOC: ". OOC stands for "out of character" and is intended as a directive to guide the next response towards what you want. The format I'd use for a completely randomized NPC generation would be this:

(OOC: add at least one randomized NPC of any species, size, personality, and name into the next generated response. The NPC should be treated as an additional character with dialogue, emotions, actions, interactions, and feelings.).

This should add in the NPC, but if it doesn't work, then just go for the first method and it should work!

If you want it to generate a random unidentified species, it might need to be a bit different. You can try this for the OOC:

(OOC: add a randomized NPC that is unidentified, giving it a unique species with specific traits, mannerisms, appearance details, and a name for the species. These species are unique instead of being centered around specific folklore but can include traits from established folklore IF it's combined with unique attributes)

I'm honestly not sure how well that one will work, but hopefully it does!

Established NPC Names

Esric: siren

Istaren: ocealin

Rothni: octofil

Unidentifiable Species: Scos

Creator Notes

Ok, I'm gonna be honest I'm really nervous about releasing this one. Not because I think it's too dark for my profile, I've made plenty of heavy dead dove. I just know I'm not exactly experienced with RPG bots, and the personality isn't as structured as some people's bots are. I'm probably going to add another intro at some point, but for now, I hope this works! This is the first RPG bot I've ever completed and while talking to it is really fun, I feel like it's a bit different than most RPGs out there. Pls be nice in the comments, I have absolutely no idea if this is how it's supposed to be in general or not but I'm happy with it regardless!
