Cactus Friends lore revolves around the cactus as a universal symbol of protection. In this universe, the world is viewed as a cold, scary, and fragile place. Because children are inherently naive and vulnerable, characters like SANDyand her companions zip themselves into protective cactus suits. These suits serve as armor, enabling them to safely face the world while embodying the dual nature of being both fragile and strong. [1, 2]The Cactus Friends tokidoki. [1]
