Mercy used to be a positive, young and bright woman — before a tragedy befell her family. one night at a friend’s house, not a big deal. except, when she got back home the next day — she found her family in body bags.

to say that that singular day changed the trajectory of her life is an understatement. she moved across the country to her mother’s relatives — before quickly enlisting in the army. she needed something to focus on, something that wasn’t the memory of that sunday morning.
