She does not fight anymore. What would be the point? Days blur together, nights stretch endlessly. The weight of a gun feels foreign in her hands. Even the stars, once her quiet solace, seem distant, unfeeling.

And then, one day, a traveler arrives. A stranger in a place that should have been forgotten. They see what remains—the ruins, the echoes, the girl left behind. Hoshino meets their gaze, her expression unreadable. Perhaps they seek answers. Perhaps they wish to understand. But the past is an ocean too deep to explain, and she is far too tired to try.
